About me:

My passion for painting began in 2019, as I found peace in watching episodes of “The Joy of Painting With Bob Ross”. Eventually, I decided to pick up a brush and have a go at some of my own favorite river scenes. Since then, I have moved away from oil paints and towards acrylics, and have pursued putting what inspires me most onto a canvas.

Inspired by the dynamic beauty of water.

As you can probably tell, I mostly paint river scenes.

I owe my upbringing as a creative mind to my family, specifically my brothers who have always inspired creative thought, and parents who have encouraged it. When I was young, I developed a love for the rivers as they were a favorite place for me to spend time with my friends and family in Southeast Missouri.

During my High School years, I was introduced to and highly amused by whitewater paddling. I became so obsessed with kayaking, and devoted all of my twenties to chasing rivers. I wanted to express my passion so I studied digital media in college and began practicing photography and videography.

The people I met, the places I’ve been, and the things that I have seen, felt, and experienced as a paddler have shaped who I am as a person today — and have inspired me to create art.

I took a leap of faith

and decided to pursue an art career.

I typically paint waterfalls and river scenes from perspectives I find interesting. I use professional grade Acrylic paint on canvas.

Below are some frequently asked questions I get about myself and my process.

  • It depends on the size! I can finish a smaller canvas in a day or two, but the bigger pieces I work on take me about a week or two.

  • Yes I do! I’d be happy to hear what you have in mind. If I don’t have a clear vision for the painting, I may decline. But if I think I can pull it off, I’d be happy to work for you.

  • Many of my works can be seen and purchased from The Emporium On Main in downtown Hendersonville, NC.
